Recognizing an outstanding career

Colleagues near and far joined together for a "Day of Science" symposium
and a special dinner to honor the outstanding career of Patricia Donahoe, MD, current director of Pediatric Surgical Research Laboratories and former chief of the Pediatric Surgical Service for MassGeneral Hospital for Children. Held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, the two-day celebration drew prestigious pediatric surgeons and researchers from around the globe to recognize the many contributions Donahoe has made to the fields of pediatric surgery and pediatric research. A special dinner in Donahoe's honor was held May 26 and the "Day of Science" symposium May 27 featured guest presenters who spoke on a variety of research topics.
