MGH Men Against Abuse group hosts activities

To help heighten awareness about domestic violence issues, the MGH Domestic Violence Working Group is introducing a new men's initiative called MGH Men Against Abuse. The group's goals are to foster awareness and offer educational opportunities about abuse and to encourage everyone — particularly men — to speak up and not remain silent about violence against women.

The group will be hosting an information table with the theme "See it, Step up and Stop it" during the days leading up to Father's Day June 15, 16 and 17, from noon to 2 pm in the Main Corridor. In addition, a special service will be held June 15 at 11 am in the MGH Chapel on Ellison 1, featuring inspirational readings from abuse survivors and several MGH employees. All are welcome.

For more information about the group, visit www.massgeneral.org/menagainstabuse.
