Holiday garage access
Due to the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, the Parkman Street garage
will be reserved for employees from July 2 at 11 am to July 5 at 1 am.
The entrance ticket dispensers will be shut off. Entry to the Parkman
Street garage will only be granted by a garage access card. To review
the latest updates about road closures throughout the city during the
holiday weekend, visit www.mass.gov/dcr.
Ice cream sundaes for blood donors
The MGH Blood Donor Center
will host a make-your-own ice cream sundae event July 5, from 11 am to
4 pm. Donors who give before 11 am will receive a coupon to come back
for their sundae. All donors also get their choice of two newly-designed

Computer training workshop
Partners Information Systems will offer summer computer training classes
for both new and experienced users. Novice users will be introduced to
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, while experienced participants will
learn new tips for navigating Microsoft Office 2000 applications more
efficiently. All classes will be held at the MGH Training and Workforce
Development Office, located at 165 Cambridge St. For schedules and registration

2005 AMMP scholarship applications now available
The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) will sponsor
a scholarship award program for those who need assistance with tuition
or books. To be considered for the scholarship, applicants will need to
complete an essay; submit two letters of recommendation from a supervisor,
manager or community leader; and include proof of acceptance into a degree
or certificate program and proof of tuition cost. The application deadline
is July 11 at 1 pm. AMMP also is sponsoring a scholarship to the MGH Institute
