North End presents DiMaggio Public Service Award

The North End Community Health Center (NECHC) hosted a fundraising event May 17 at the Boston Harbor Hotel to benefit the center's existing and future programs and services. Legendary Red Sox centerfielder Dom DiMaggio was on hand to present John Henry, principal owner of the Boston Red Sox, with the second annual Dom DiMaggio Public Service Award for his leadership and commitment to supporting health care in Boston's neighborhoods.
