- National
Physician Assistant Day
For more than 30 years, physician assistants
(PAs) have provided quality medical care and services as licensed practitioners
who practice medicine with physicians in many types of health care settings.
The importance of this profession's impact in the field of medicine
has grown and will be recognized Oct. 6, when physician assistants from
the MGH and throughout the country celebrate National Physician Assistant
Day.
