Patient privacy campaign contest

MGH Health Information Services (HIS) is committed to protecting patient information and is asking all MGHers to participate in its privacy campaign contest. HIS is looking for a simple but thoughtful statement that shows compassion and understanding of patients' rights for privacy. The new statement will be displayed in all elevators.

The old statement says, "Please Respect Patient Confidentiality." New statement submissions should be kept brief. All statements will be considered and could help inspire a final message that includes a combination of multiple submissions.

To enter the contest, submit ideas to Claudia Sayer at csayer@partners.org or drop them off at the HIS Education and Awareness Information table the week of Nov. 6, from 10 am to 2 pm in the Main Corridor. Suggestions will be voted on by the Confidentiality Education and Awareness Committee. The person with the winning suggestion will receive an autographed football from New England Patriot Deion Branch. Deadline for submissions is Nov. 11.
