Steven Grinspoon, MD, director of the MGH Program in Nutritional Metabolism and clinical director of the Neuroendocrine Clinical Center, was awarded the American Federation for Medical Research Outstanding Investigator Award for 2005. The award is the society's top honor.

Hadine Joffe, MD, of the MGH Department of Psychiatry, and Nancy Lin, MD, of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, received funding for their proposal “Mechanisms of Hot Flushes in Women with Breast Cancer: Neuroimaging of the Hormonal Changes Caused by Aromatase Inhibitor” by the Harvard Medical School's Fund for Women's Health grant program. MGHers Lee Cohen, MD; Darin Dougherty, MD; Janet Hall, MD; and Scott Rauch, MD, also were involved in the proposal.
