In memoriam:Paul Lindquist

Paul Lindquist of MGH Patient Care Services died Jan. 15 at the age of 60 after an extended illness. An MGH employee for 33 years, Lindquist started at the MGH as a unit coordinator in 1973 and spent much of his time working in Orthopaedic units.

In 1990, he became a financial analyst for what is now Patient Care Services Management Systems, a position he held until his death. Before his career at the MGH, Lindquist served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1973 and served time in Vietnam.

His colleagues remember him for his sense of humor, his reliability and willingness to help anyone in need and for his highly regarded knowledge and expertise.
