Celebrity
hockey to score for United Way
Members
of Team MGH will lace up their skates and take to the ice April 2 to face
off against the Black and Gold Legends — a team of former Boston
Bruins hockey players — at the fourth annual celebrity hockey game
benefiting the hospital's United Way campaign. All proceeds from ticket
sales will go directly to benefit a number of United Way programs.
Some legendary players in Bruins history will be playing in this year's
game — including John "Pie" MacKenzie, Ken Hodge, Donny
Marcotte, and Billy O'Dwyer. Immediately following the game, a reception
will be held at the Montvale Plaza located across from the arena.
The game will take place at the Stoneham Arena in Stoneham, Mass. at 4
pm. Tickets are $20, and children age 12 and under are free. Tickets can
be purchased at the MGH General Store or by contacting Ron Doncaster at
rdoncaster@partners.org
or Laura Merino at lmerino@partners.org.
