MGH Vascular Center opens in Waltham

Members of the new MGH Vascular Center at MassGeneral West in Waltham took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony March 16 to mark the opening of the center. Peter L. Slavin, MD, president of the MGH, David Torchiana, MD, chairman and CEO of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization, and Jeannette McCarthy, mayor of Waltham, were on-hand for the festivities. The new center officially opened to patients the week of March 6. This new non-invasive, diagnostic outpatient facility is part of the larger MGH Vascular Center, located on the main campus.
