- Education is the key to sucess for graduates
As
a world-renowned health care institution, the MGH attracts employees
from all across the world, and many of these MGHers do not speak English
as their primary language. Through the MGH Workplace Education Program,
the hospital offers free literacy and English for Speakers of Other
Languages (ESOL) classes to these employees.

- Sims wins AAMI's top honor
The
Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) recently
awarded Nathaniel M. Sims, MD, of the MGH Department of Anesthesia and
Critical Care, the prestigious AAMI Foundation Laufman-Greatbach Prize,
the society's highest honor.

- Remy Report blood drive hits a homerun for patients
With
the Red Sox currently boasting one of the best records in baseball,
MGH Red Sox fans have a new reason to rally. Jerry Remy a former
Red Sox player, a Red Sox commentator for the New England Sports Network
and host of the Remy Report is teaming up with the MGH and BWH's
Blood Donor Centers for a blood drive July 11 through
14.
