NCLIS honors
Treadwell Library
The
National Commission on Libraries and Information Science (NCLIS) recently
selected the MGH's Treadwell Library as the second place winner for the
2006 Health Information Award that recognizes outstanding health information
programs. The Treadwell Library was one of 10 finalists for the national
award in recognition of the Access to Resources for Community Health (ARCH)
program. Established in 2000, ARCH is a partnership between the Treadwell
Library and MGH Community Health Associates and provides high-quality
health information to the diverse communities the MGH health centers serve.
Elizabeth Schneider, director of the Treadwell Library, accepted the award
