NCLIS honors Treadwell Library

The National Commission on Libraries and Information Science (NCLIS) recently selected the MGH's Treadwell Library as the second place winner for the 2006 Health Information Award that recognizes outstanding health information programs. The Treadwell Library was one of 10 finalists for the national award in recognition of the Access to Resources for Community Health (ARCH) program. Established in 2000, ARCH is a partnership between the Treadwell Library and MGH Community Health Associates and provides high-quality health information to the diverse communities the MGH health centers serve. Elizabeth Schneider, director of the Treadwell Library, accepted the award on behalf of ARCH. For more information about the Treadwell Library, visit www.massgeneral.org/library.
