Remy Report blood drive
hits a homerun for patients
With
the Red Sox currently boasting one of the best records in baseball, MGH
Red Sox fans have a new reason to rally. Jerry Remy a former Red
Sox player, a Red Sox commentator for the New England Sports Network and
host of the Remy Report is teaming up with the MGH and BWH's Blood
Donor Centers for a blood drive July 11 through 14. All donors who participate
in the blood drive will receive an autographed Remdawg T-shirt and will
be entered into a drawing for two tickets to a Red Sox game. Most importantly,
all donations will help save the lives of the real heroes: MGH patients.
The MGH Blood Donor Center is open for whole blood donations Tuesday through
Thursday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm; and Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Appointments are encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome. For more information
about donating blood at the MGH Blood Donor Center, call (617) 726-8177.
