PeopleSoft system gets an upgrade

MGHers soon will see a new version of the PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS) when the system is upgraded during the week of Aug. 7. To prepare for the upgrade, PeopleSoft Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS) will be unavailable from Aug. 7 at 5 pm through Aug. 10 at noon. During this time, ESS transactions — such as signing up for direct deposit, enrolling in the MBTA pass program and requesting training, and MSS transactions such as data changes, transfers and merit increases — will not be available. Employees who view their pay advice in ESS will be able to view their pay advice Aug. 10 in the afternoon.

The Employee Access Center located in Clinics 117 will remain open during this time for regular business hours. Employees can visit the office to ask questions or pick up ESS materials.

MGH Human Resources has scheduled an information session for ESS users Aug. 14 at 9 am in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Employees also can access the ESS website for manuals and updates at is.partners.org/hr/New_Web/mgh/mgh_ibridge_ess.htm.

Information sessions for MSS users will be held Aug. 2 at 3 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium; Aug. 8 at 10 am in the Doerr Conference Room, 10th floor, Yawkey Center; Aug. 14 at 11 am in the O'Keeffe; and Aug. 14 at 2 pm in the Isselbacher Conference Room, CNY 7. Managers can access the MSS website for manuals and updates at is.partners.org/hr/New_Web/mgh/mgh_ibridge_mss.htm.
