New Women's Health Directory
The MGH Women's Health Education Committee recently launched the online
Women's Health Directory to help women of all ages find information about
the health services and resources available at the MGH. The directory
includes
information about a variety of women's health care services, including
cancer care, obstetrics and gynecology, mental health, aging and wellness
and support. To access the directory, visit www.massgeneral.org/womenshealth.
Louie's Run to benefit MIND Institute
The third annual 5K Run/Walk Louie's Run will take place Aug. 20 at Buttonwood
Park in New Bedford, Mass. The walk will begin at 9:45 am, the run will
begin at 10 am and a Kids' Fun Run will begin at 9:30 am. All proceeds
from the event will benefit the MassGeneral Institute for Neurodegenerative

Mind/body infertility workshops
The MGH Fertility Center is offering free mind/body fertility workshops
Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 5:15 to 7:15 pm. The workshops are for both
individuals and couples dealing with infertility and will cover teaching,
discussion, and practice of meditation and other complementary medical

Senior HealthWISE events
The MGH Senior HealthWISE lecture series will offer "Community Updates
from City Councilor Mike Ross" Aug. 17, from 11 am to noon in the
Haber Conference Room. Ross will discuss current legislative issues and
initiatives. Senior HealthWISE will also host a one-hour water aerobics
session "Plunge Into Fitness" Aug. 21, from 11 am to 1 pm at
the outdoor pool at The Clubs at Charles River Park. Lunch will be served.
