The National Research Company (NRC) recently announced that consumers have chosen the MGH as the hospital with the highest quality and image in the Boston area. The MGH is one of 234 hospitals to be honored with a Consumer Choice Award. For the past 11 years, the NRC, a health care performance measurement organization, has honored the most preferred hospitals in various metropolitan areas based on a study of more than 200,000 households representing 400,000 consumers across the country.
