Postcards from the Field

When Alasdair K. Conn, MD, chief of MGH Emergency Services, recently journeyed to Chennai, India to assist a local hospital in developing a trauma center, an eager audience of colleagues and friends back home was able to stay up to date on his adventures through a new electronic essay series, Postcards from the Field. Launched more than a year ago by the Partners International Program, the series highlights the experiences of clinicians working overseas in clinical settings or locally in cross-cultural settings. Conn is the first MGHer to contribute an essay.
