  • Reflections of the past: Celebrating Clinics and VBK
    The Clinics and Vincent Burnham Kennedy (VBK) buildings have stood at the core of the MGH campus since 1903 and 1947, respectively. Many MGHers, patients, volunteers and friends have fond memories associated with these buildings, which have rich and extensive histories.
  • MGH Police and security earns top honors
    The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) recently awarded the MGH Police and Security Department with the 2007 Lindbergh Bell Award for outstanding health care security services.
  • Tosteson fellows present their research
    Four MGH investigators presented their work to colleagues and research leadership at a July 19 reception at Building 149. The researchers were the 2006 recipients of the Tosteson Fellowships, which are granted to postdoctoral research fellows working at CNY.

    As an internationally recognized leader in health care, education and research, the MGH attracts significant media attention. While the Public Affairs Office is directly responsible for overseeing the hospital's media relations program, each member of the MGH community plays an important role in ensuring its success.
  • Myers joins MGHfC Cardiac Surgery
    Jeff L. Myers, MD, PhD, has joined the MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) as chief of Pediatric Cardiac and Congenital Cardiac Surgery.
