What’s an MGHer to do when even the best laid childcare plans fall through? The answer is easy: Call Parents in a Pinch. Offered through Partners HealthCare, Parents in a Pinch provides families in-home, backup and/or emergency childcare and is available seven days per week. Employees may use this benefit up to seven times per year at an hourly rate of $15. All providers are experienced and
thoroughly screened for criminal background and health and safety training.  

To schedule care with Parents in a Pinch, call (617) 739-5437. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm. MGH employees have access to a customer service representative available Sunday through Thursday, from 5 pm to 7 pm for care needed the following day. When calling, staff should identify themselves as MGH employees and be prepared to provide their employee ID number.
