Department of Surgery showcases renovation
The MGH Department of Surgery celebrated its newly renovated quarters on Wang 3 and 4 during an open house Dec. 5. Attended by nearly 100 MGHers, the event was hosted by Andrew L. Warshaw, MD, MGH surgeon-in-chief; Richard Cambria, MD, division chief of Vascular Surgery; James May, MD, division chief of Plastic Surgery; David Rattner, MD, division chief of General Surgery; and Ann Prestipino, senior vice president for Surgical and Anesthesia Services and Clinical Business Development. The renovation project, which began in 2006, includes a new surgery clinic, sleep room, conference room, workspace for clinical nursing programs and ambulatory practice suites for the divisions of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
