FSA expenses
for 2007
MGH employees with 2007 Health Care or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) have until March 15 to incur expenses and until March 31 to submit them to the Benefits Office.
Checking 2007 FSA balances
Paychecks list only recent FSA
reimbursements, not FSA account
balances. Employees can check their
FSA balance by logging onto PeopleSoft at ibridge.partners.org and clicking "PeopleSoft HRMS Production," "Self Service," "Flex Spend," "Flexible Spending Accounts" and entering "2007" as the calendar year.
Submitting a claim
FSA reimbursement claim forms are available on the MGH Benefits intranet site at is.partners.org/hr/New_Web/mgh/mgh_forms.htm or by calling the Benefits Office at (617) 726-8133. When submitting claims for health care
expenses, employees should include a paid invoice that identifies the item or service purchased, the date the item was purchased or the service was delivered and the provider of the item or service. Employees should include a Social Security or Tax ID number for daycare
or other service providers when
submitting dependent care expenses.
Reimbursement
Once employees submit their claims, reimbursement should appear in the "Earnings" section of their paychecks. Due to the high volume of FSA claims at this time of year, it may take more than two weeks after employees submit their claims for reimbursements to be made.
For more information about
FSAs, contact the Benefits Office at
(617) 726-8133 or ibenefits@partners.org.
