  • Clinics, Tilton, and VBK: Gone today, readying for tomorrow
    By now, observers and passersby at the hospital's Main Entrance will have noticed that the Clinics, Tilton and Vincent Burnham Kennedy (VBK) buildings have been demolished. The six-month demolition project, which clears the site for construction of the new Building for the Third Century (B3C), began in November 2007 and will wrap up in May 2008.
  • Scale great heights to Be Fit
    Beginning March 10, MGHers across the hospital can scale the equivalent of the world's highest mountains without leaving their workplaces by participating in the first annual Be Fit Stair Challenge.
  • In memoriam: Herman K. Gold, MD
    Herman K. "Chip" Gold, MD, a distinguished member of the MGH Cardiology Division, died March 1 after a long illness. He was 67 years old.
  • SAC meeting focuses on academic/industry relationships
    The interactions of academic institutions like the MGH with pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries were closely examined Feb. 13 at the 61st annual Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting — "Bridges Between MGH and Industry: A 360° Look."
