Overview

The Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship is a collaborative program between Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center designed to train leaders in academic pulmonary and critical care medicine.

Six fellows per year are accepted into our ACGME-accredited three-year fellowship program, which includes 19 months of clinical training and 17 months of academic training. Fellows pursuing the physician-scientist pathway are additionally offered a fourth year of protected research time as fellows.

Upon completion of the clinical and research years, program graduates will have the requisite skills, publications, and curriculum vitae to launch an outstanding career as a basic science investigator, clinician-scientist or clinician-educator anywhere in the world.
