Massachusetts General Hospital is conveniently located in downtown
Boston, and it is accessible by automobile and public transportation. Parking
is available at
the hospital; but, as with any large city hospital, parking can be limited
during peak hours.
To
visit the Reproductive Endocrinology department:
Follow the directions to Mass General.
Once at the main campus, take North Grove Street,
take a right onto Parkman Street,
and then a left onto the circular drive.
Reproductive
Endocrinology is to the right,
in the Bartlett Hall Extension Building on the fifth floor.

Drive
- Via I-93 or I-1 take
the Storrow Drive exit and get in the left lane
- Take the Government Center
exit off Storrow Drive
- Follow signs to Downtown
and Government Center (Cambridge Street)
- At first set of lights
take left onto North Grove Street
- Parking garages on left

By
way of New Chardon Street
- From I-93 Southbound,
take Exit 25 (Haymarket Square/Government Center)
- Follow New Chardon
Street (bear right at the I-93 off-ramp) toward Government Center
- Straight through 1
light and turn right onto Cambridge Street
- Straight through 2
lights and turn right onto North Grove Street
- Parking garages are
on the left or right on North Grove Street

the South:

- To the east of
Mass General is Boston Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean.
- From the immediate vicinity,
drive to Cambridge Street as indicated above, and then turn onto North Grove
Street and proceed to the parking lots.

you will exit onto Cambridge Street.

Street (a Dunkin' Donuts will be on your left, on the opposite side of the
street).
- Mass General is a 5-minute
walk.
- Turn left onto North
Grove Street
- The main entrance is
straight ahead.
By Subway:
Saturday and Sunday

- Take the Bowdoin-bound
Blue Line (which is "inbound").
- Take the 4th stop - the

Stop, you will exit onto Cambridge Street.

In Boston, the subway system
is known as the MBTA -
the Mass Bay Transit Authority - commonly called the "T."
It comprises four lines, each known by a color: Red Line, Blue Line, Green
Line and Orange Line.
The easiest line to Mass General is the Red Line, Charles Street/MGH station.
Please note that this station is not currently handicap accessible. The
Green Line, Haymarket T-stop is the nearest handicap accessible stop.

The Commuter Rail consists
of AMTRAK trains which function as part of the "T."
They are distinguished by
the color purple; and sometimes called the Purple Line, but, more often, they
are simply called the Commuter Rail.
To get to Mass General by
Commuter Rail or by regular AMTRAK service from another city, take a train
to either South Station or North Station.
