Dr. Halpern takes domestic violence message to Capital Hill

Dr. Leslie Halpern attended the American Medical Association's (AMA) Advisory Council Meeting on Violence and Abuse held in Washington, DC.  While there she was invited to Capital Hill to address the importance of examining violence and abuse across the lifespan of individuals.  In addition, Dr. Halpern was invited to sit on a national panel in Minnesota that focused on how to incorporate domestic violence awareness and intervention into medical education.
