Lucia M. Vaina, MD, PhD, and Dr. Ferdinando S. Buonanno are co-directors of the Neurology of Vision Laboratory.  Drs. Vaina and Buonanno have been collaborating for over a decade to better understand:

• mechanisms that mediate human visual perception in healthy and damaged human brains.
• long-term plasticity and short-term dynamics in networks of the adult normal and damaged cortex (from stroke).
