Biochemical Translational Imaging - Hooker Research Lab

The Hooker Research Group, part of the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, focuses on the development and application of in vivo molecular imaging tools.

With a diverse group of lab members, we embrace the entire pipeline of radiotracer imaging research, from novel target identification and radiotracer synthesis to pre-clinical and clinical research imaging of patient populations. Some key research projects we are enthusiastically pursuing include:

  • Novel radiochemical methods for labeling with PET isotopes
  • Development of novel probes for CNS applications
  • Imaging tools for epigenetic machinery
  • MR/PET clinical research imaging
