The pharmacy at Mass General fills prescriptions for patients of physicians employed by the hospital or Partners HealthCare as well as Mass General employees.
A Mass General patient identification card (or “Blue Card”) is required to fill a prescription at the pharmacy. Patients should call the pharmacy several hours before picking up a medication to ensure that the prescription has been filled and that the pharmacy has the required information.
In case of an emergency, the pharmacy might be able to fill medications and prescriptions right away. If a patient needs a prescription filled immediately because of an emergency, please alert the pharmacy staff, who will fill the prescription as quickly as possible.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm
Sundays and holidays, 9 am to 12:30 pm.
The pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Wang Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) on Mass General’s main campus.
