Lauren Leavitt, MA

Lauren Leavitt, Senior Research Coordinator of the John D. Stoeckle Center and the Health Decision Sciences Center, is currently working on the Shared Decision Making project. She helps coordinate the dissemination of the shared decision making video programs to eligible patients through various research projects within Massachusetts General Hospital and its affiliated community health centers. She collects and manages the study data while supporting the expansion of the project throughout the hospital. She serves as liaison between the primary care and specialty clinics at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Foundation for Informed Medical Decision Making, including the other demonstration sites across the country.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from UMass Amherst and a Masters of Arts degree in Health Communication from Emerson College in Boston.  In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and is an avid Boston sports fan.
