The MGH Surgical Society works to promote professional and personal interaction among surgeons trained at Massachusetts General Hospital; promote the growth and development of the The General Hospital Corporation (GHC) Surgery Service; and promote the continuing education of members of the Surgical Society and current GHC surgical residents.

The Society holds a General Meeting once every three years. The next General Meeting is scheduled for June 2008.
