Biography

Dr. Cooper specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast and body. He completed his residency training in the Harvard Integrated Plastic Surgery Program. Dr. Cooper performs all types of cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery as well as facelifts, blepharoplasties, rhinoplasties, liposuction and body contouring surgery after weight loss and child birth. He is particularly interested in developing less invasive techniques to create a more natural post-procedure appearance. Dr. Cooper has authored chapters in dermal fillers, botox and laser treatments, mid-face and nasal anatomy.

Dr. Cooper strives to tailor each operation to the patient's specific needs and is committed to establishing a strong doctor-patient relationship. He believes this relationship is essential to understanding your needs so that he can personalize your aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.

Research

Dr. Cooper has presented nationally and internationally on many plastic and resconstructive surgery topics including: body contouring, anesthesia techniques in facelift surgery, monitoring of lower extremity free flaps and ear deformities of cleft lip and palate patients. He has authored chapters on the use of lasers and dermal fillers to treat facial scars, injection techniques for dermal fillers (juvederm, radiesse) and botox along with nasal and facial anatomy. Dr. Cooper plans to research the use of light based therapies (Laser) to improve scarring and facial rejuvenation.
