Dialysis Access Surgeons

Dialysis access surgeons such as Tatsuo Kawai, MD, PhD, perform new access operations for both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Dialysis surgeons also revise or repair existing access. They offer the latest techniques for patients with complex access issues as a result of anatomy or long-standing illness, and work with interventional radiologists to provide patients the most effective, least invasive therapies.

Meet our dialysis access surgeons:

Steven Wu, MD, director of Interventional Nephrology
