The Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS): Student Provider Course provides skills in safe, immediate management and the basic knowledge necessary to assess a patient’s condition rapidly and accurately, resuscitate and stabilize the patient according to priority, determine if the patient's needs exceed a facility's capabilities, arrange appropriately for the patient’s transfer, and ensure optimum care. The course is offered October 21-22, 2013.
