Established in 2004, the Fellowship Program in Genitourinary Oncology is available to physicians who are fully trained in the subspecialties of genitourinary oncology – medical oncology, radiation oncology, and urologic oncology.
Fellows may choose to participate for three or six months depending on their needs, interests, and availability.The Genitourinary Fellowship Program gives trainees the opportunity to:

The Genitourinary Fellowship Program can accommodate one fellow in each of the three disciplines simultaneously.
Fellows are responsible for travel and living expenses.
The clinical curriculum is specific to each discipline, providing fellows with exposure to diagnostic and therapeutic modalities of their particular subspecialty.In keeping with the Cancer Center’s multidisciplinary, integrated approach to cancer treatment, trainees have at least one week of clinical exposure (more if they choose) to the other two disciplines.Clinical care is provided through the

The Research ComponentThe research component gives fellows the opportunity to participate in a wide range of basic and/or clinical research activities relating to their subspecialty. Areas of ongoing research include urology, radiation oncology and medical oncology.
