Our
goal is to provide a second opinion, which is comprehensive and tailored to
the individual patient. Each subdivision of the Department provides this service
- some by a single physician, others by a group of physicians (each from a
separate discipline).
We ask that the medical records and relevant pathology slides be sent prior to the visit. This allows us to have our pathologist render an expert opinion on the pathology and for us to determine which physician or group of physicians is most appropriate.
At the time of the visit, the relevant x-ray
films should be brought to the consultation by the patient.
