Biography
Randall M. Zusman, M.D. is the Director of the Division of Hypertension at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and Consultant in Cardiology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Boston, Massachusetts. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Zusman has recently been designated a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension. Dr. Zusman's primary clinical interests are in the evaluation and treatment of patients with hypertension (high blood pressure), hypercholesterolemia, atrial fibrillation, and angina pectoris, and in cardiac risk reduction strategies.
Dr. Zusman received his M.D. from Yale University School of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Zusman completed his internship, residencies and chief residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed fellowships at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, and in the Cardiology Unit, Massachusetts General Hospital. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Michigan, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, in 1969.
