Advanced Technologies: When, Who, Why? Patient Selection to Optimize Therapeutic Outcomes will examine the role of novel intervention strategies and innovative devices available for the management of complex cardiovascular disorders and prevention of cardioembolic stroke. This course will outline evidence-based approaches to patient selection for these interventions, which will impact practice and optimize therapeutic outcomes for patients with heart disease, pulmonary embolism and stroke. Faculty will share their experience and provide a practical guide to clinical decision making for patients with heart failure, pulmonary embolism and cardiogenic stroke in a format that will allow for an interactive exchange with the audience.
