Since
1985, the North End Community Health Center’s Adult
Day Center has been playing an important role in the lives of both
individuals needing some assistance and their caregivers alike. By providing
a variety of health, social and support services in a safe, protective environment
during the day, we have made it possible for our clients to remain living
in their own homes longer and have given them a renewed sense of independence
and self-esteem. At the same time, we have provided caregivers with the security
and confidence to pursue other aspects of their lives, knowing that their
loved ones are well-cared for and enjoying life once again. Our Center, located at the Villa Michelangelo and equipped with a wander guard protection system, is spacious and nicely furnished. There is ample opportunity for our clients to move freely and safely throughout the building and even enjoy a rooftop garden. We are a service of the North End Community Health Center, which is JCAHO accredited and an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital.
