Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
The Vincent REI Fellowship accepts one fellow every year, for a three-year training period. The fellowship training is divided equally between clinical and research activities. Formal didactic sessions include enrollment in courses and attendance at weekly rounds and conferences. The clinical activities take place primarily in the Division of Reproductive Medicine and IVF of the Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service, including the Vincent In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Unit. The basic scientific research activities occur primarily within the Vincent Center for Reproductive Biology. The fellowship is approved by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine
The Massachusetts General Hospital Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service offers a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The goal of this fellowship is to train sub specialists in Ob-Gyn to manage complex clinical problems related to pregnancy, as well as to investigate important relevant basic science and clinical research questions in this area. This broad-based educational training program, administered through our affiliation with Harvard Medical School, allows us the opportunity to provide strong educational experience in both basic and clinical research and design. Training includes developing a familiarity with the basic science and physiology underlying pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Fellows will receive education in perinatal pathology, obstetric anesthesia, critical care, and prenatal diagnosis and genetics. In addition, more specific areas of training for the MFM fellows include infectious disease, neonatology, prenatal diagnosis and ultrasonography.
For more information about the MFM Fellowship, please contact Dr. Jeffrey Ecker. |
