high quality childbirth, parenting and infant development classes
for expecting parents and families.

Maternity Tours
Visit the Vincent Obstetrics Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital,
by participating in a free tour of our facility. To register for
a hospital tour, call (617) 726-4312.
Me and My Baby Support Group
(Free)
Come meet other new mothers and professional leaders to explore
the joys and challenges of motherhood. Ask questions, share experiences,
make friends, get support, discuss topics and acquire breastfeeding
support and education. A registered nurse and lactation consultant
lead each group.
The group meets every Tuesday from 10-11:30 am. (Holiday weeks
are an exception). For free pre-registration or more information

Isis Maternity
Offerings
Beginning in October 2008, childbirth and family
education programs for Mass General patients will be provided
by Isis Maternity. Isis
Maternity offers a wide variety of classes, groups, workshops
and private sessions to help you prepare as you welcome your new
baby into your family. Class offerings include:
- Childbirth Education including Natural Childbirth, Multiples,
early pregnancy and refresher courses.
- Parenting Preparation including Breastfeeding Basics, Newborn
Essentials, Infant and Child CPR and Sibling classes.
- Fitness Classes including Prenatal Yoga, Mommy & Baby
Yoga, Maternal Fitness workshops.
- Mom & Baby and Dad & Baby groups
- Development Groups and Music and Movement classes for infants
and toddlers up to 36 months.

Class Registration
The best time to take classes is during your last trimester. We
recommend that you finish all your classes about 4 weeks before

Lactation Services
Isis Maternity also offers full education and support services
for lactation with classes, individual consultations and drop-in
sessions for on-the-spot advice and guidance for breastfeeding

Isis Maternity has centers located in Arlington, Brookline and
Needham. A new Boston location will be opening soon. For more
