How to Register
- Step one: Decide which class you would like to take (Childbirth, Breastfeeding Infant Care etc...)
- Step two: View schedule for dates and times. ( space availability will be verified when you call to pre-register)
- Step three: Call 1.617.726.4312 to pre-register. This will hold your space in class.
When you call please leave your name, first and last with the spelling, a telephone number where you can be reached, and the dates and names of the classes you wish to take.
- Step four: Submit payment/registration form

Making Payments
You can make a payment one of three ways:
- Option #1: Payments may be made over the phone with a major credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express)
- Option #2: Mail registration form in with a check payable to MGH OB Family Ed Program.

Option #3: If you are unable to print the form, send check in with note containing dates and times of all classes, your name, address and phone number.
Once the office receives your payment/registration we will send out a written letter of confirmation and receipt, along with dates, times and locations/directions for all your classes. If your insurance company reimburses for classes hold onto this letter they will need a copy.
Payments should be made in full 4 weeks prior to the start of class to confirm your placement in the class. If we do not receive your registration your space may be given to someone on the wait list.
If you sent your registration in and have not received a confirmation letter within two weeks, please contact us at 1.617.726-4312.
Refund Policy
If your doctor or midwife recommends that you not attend class for medical reasons or if you give birth prematurely, we will be glad to refund your payment in full. Otherwise the refund policy is as follows:
If you cancel your class:
- One month prior to the class we will refund all your cost minus a $25.00 handling fee.
- At least two weeks prior to class we will refund 50% of your payment.
- Less than two weeks notice results in no refund.
Insurance Reimbursements
Some insurance companies will reimburse you for your childbirth class. Each
company has different benefits under a variety of plans.
We recommend that
you contact your customer service representative (usually the number is found
on the back of your insurance card) and ask if they reimburse. Most companies
need a copy of your confirmation letter or receipt of payment.
Class Cancellations
In case of inclement weather, travel may be inadvisable. If needed, classes will be cancelled on the day of class. Weekday evening classes will be cancelled at 3:00pm. Weekend classes will be cancelled by 6:30am. Please contact the office directly at 1.617.726.4312 to see if class is in session.
On rare occasions a class may need to be cancelled for other reasons. The office will make every attempt to contact you directly at the phone number you provided.
