This 530,000-square-foot, 14-floor facility has 150 patient beds, 28 new procedure/operating rooms and expands, co-locates and enhances services in cancer, neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology and emergency care. Lunder Building Entrances & Connections
Emergency Department
Patients and visitors can access the Redstone Emergency Department by entering the first floor of the Lunder Building.
All Other Patient Services
For access to all other patient floors, enter through Mass General's main lobby (55 Fruit Street entrance) or by crossing the Martin and Kay Bander Bridge from the Yawkey Building. The Bander Bridge will be open daily from 6 am to 8 pm beginning July 2011.

Patient Drop-off & PickupWhether you have an appointment or are being discharged from the hospital, Mass General volunteers can help with special requests such as wheelchair assistance. Learn more
Dropping off Patients
Patients can be dropped off at the White Ramp, located at Mass General’s main entrance at 55 Fruit Street. Both the Yawkey and Wang centers offer patient drop-off and valet services for patients with appointments in those buildings.
Picking up Patients
Patients can be picked up at Wang Circle on Parkman Street, from 6 am to 8 pm.
Patients discharged Monday through Friday between 8 pm and 6 am and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays can be picked up at 55 Fruit Street, the hospital’s main entrance.
Parking
All Mass General parking garages offer free parking for patients visitors up to 25 minutes. The closest parking garages are the Yawkey and Fruit Street garages.
Please note: Some of the parking garages on our main campus are not owned by Mass General. These garages do not offer free or discounted parking.

The James and Carol Herscot Atrium
The Herscot Atrium, located on the sixth floor of the Lunder Building, offers patients and visitors a relaxing garden for reflection and renewal. The atrium is open to the general public during patient visiting hours.
Cafeterias
Although there is no on-site cafeteria in the Lunder Building, patients and visitors may dine at the nearby Eat Street Café in the basement of the White Building or at Coffee Central South in the Yawkey Building.
Coffee Central, located in the main lobby of the Gray Building, is open 24 hours.
