Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Wellman Center for Photomedicine are pleased to announce an NIH-NSF sponsored:
Biomedical Optics Summer Institute

Projects:
The Wellman Center accepts students every year for the following research projects:
- In-vivo Microscopy & Flow Cytometry
- Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
- Microendoscopy & Spectroscopy
- Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
- Single Molecule & Nanoscale Spectroscopy
- Time-Lapse Microscopy
Research projects at the MGH Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging and at MIT are also available and will be described on the MIT-HST web site: http://web.mit.edu/hstsummer/BiomedicalOptics.html.
This year's program will run from June 9, 2008 to August 8, 2008.
Students must be a sophmore, junior, or senior undergraduate at the time of applying and they must also be a United States Citizen or have permanent residence status. Summer stipends are available.
