Research Interests

My training and research interests are the immune mechanisms of skin diseases. My current project at the Wellman Center is to develop the application of photodynamic therapy in the treatment of acute cutaneous leishmaniasis as a new modality in anti-parasite therapy. The long-term goal of my research is to develop photodynamic therapy regimens that can be used clinically.
