The study of dynamic processes of the immune system involving the vascular endothelium using in vivo confocal microsopy. By labeling specific endothelial and circulating leukocyte surface molecules with fluorescently labeled antibodies we can elucidate the sequence of events including molecular expression and cell recruitment in inflammatory reactions.
