BiographyZamaneh Mikhak, MD, received a B.A. in Biology from Boston University in 1987 and an MD from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1991.  She subsequently completed a pediatric internship and residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC, in 1994 and an allergy/immunology fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston in 1998.  Dr. Mikhak has devoted much of her career to the care of pediatric patients with atopic disorders as well as basic and translational research.  She is the author of numerous publications and the recipient of numerous awards and NIH grants.  

ResearchBasic and translational research with a focus on T cells, dendritic cells and lung immunology.
