The Mass General Learning Laboratory welcomes opportunities to work with our community of colleagues and friends beyond Mass General to support life-long learning and promote public education in science and health care. Whether with medical colleagues at a distance, or with community groups interested in learning more about the work of the hospital, the Learning Laboratory faculty and staff are ready to develop and present thought-provoking, hands-on simulation-based learning opportunities and demonstrations.

Please contact the Learning Laboratory to learn more about how we can work together to meet your educational needs.

TeleSimulation

Capitalizing on Mass General’s wealth of clinical and educational expertise, the Learning Laboratory has developed a platform to provide remote clinical simulation and teaching in collaboration with community hospital partners. Learners remain at their workplace but are able to tap into Mass General instructional expertise in Boston in real time.

Community Outreach

The Learning Laboratory partners with the Mass General Paul Russell, MD Museum of Medical History & Innovation to host hundreds of children and adults each year, providing them with exposure to simulated patient care experiences to enhance their understanding of modern health care. Through local events, such as the annual Cambridge Science Festival and HUB Week, the Laboratory promotes a broader awareness of science and medicine through simulation.
