Accelerating Research and Helping Afflicted Families

The Center for X-linked Dystonia-Parkinsonism (XDP) was made possible due to a generous private donation to the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

The Center is dedicated to supporting leading-edge research into the mechanisms underlying XDP and expanding clinical care for those with the disorder. A consortium of international experts will work together with researchers at Mass General to accelerate the pace of discovery.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life of XDP patients by offering increased access to care, improved treatments, and ultimately, a cure.
