Ambulatory Practice of the Future
Theresa Egan has worked in the medical field for more than 40 years, primarily in infectious diseases, cardiology and adult medicine. She started working at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 1994, when she joined the Bulfinch Medical Group, and worked for the practice for 16 years as a medical assistant and medical assistant supervisor.
Theresa has served on the Board of the Allied Health Certificate Program of Bunker Hill Community College since 2004. In 2005, she was appointed to the Service Improvement Program for Medical Assistants at Massachusetts General Hospital and also helped to create the Mass General Medical Assistant Training Manual. She served as an instructor at the hospital’s Medical Assistant Academy from 2013-2014.
Theresa graduated from Carnegie Medical Institute for Medical Assisting. She is a registered medical assistant and active member of American Medical Technologists.
Theresa enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking and a relaxing with a good book at the end of the day.
