The Story Project
The Story Project is our effort to capture the stories from the people in our Mass General Cancer Center community: patients, friends, family, clinicians, and staff who have been affected by cancer in some way. Our hope is that people will benefit from sharing their stories and from reading other’s stories.
The Story Project: Robbie Hutchison and John Hartley
Robbie and John are both patients here at the Mass General Cancer Center. Robbie and John have decided to face the challenges that come with each of their diagnoses’ together, while prioritizing what’s really important: each other.
The Story Project: Mac Moore
Mac Moore has been at Mass General for nearly 30 years. In his different roles, Mac has managed to make a connection with countless patients here at the Cancer Center. You can find Mac on Yawkey 8, greeting patients and staff with a smile.
I am more resilient than even I thought that I was. And I always considered myself as someone who is resilient, but I’ve never been through an experience like this before.
